The soap is suitable for all skin types and for shaving intimate areas, and it does not dry out the skin.

Active ingredients of the product:
Shea butter contains a rich amount of vitamin E. It has a softening, moisturizing, protective, and skin-irritation soothing effect. Our soap contains a rich concentration of it, making it particularly nourishing. Our ethically produced shea butter comes from Africa, specifically Burkina Faso and Ghana, where it is traditionally made by women. Women collect the fruits of the shea tree and prepare this "gold of women" by hand. The production of shea butter provides a livelihood for millions of African women and their families. This way, they can access better healthcare and education for their children, improving their quality of life.
Castor oil softens and moisturizes the skin and makes the soap produce a rich lather.
Arctic heather soothes the skin and prevents inflammation. The wild heather grown in the bright summer of Finnish Lapland is particularly rich in antioxidants and contains many bioactive compounds, such as ursolic acid and arbutin; it is a woody flowering plant that has traditionally been used in natural remedies in northern regions for its anti-inflammatory and soothing effects.

Bentonite clay cleans impurities from the skin and body, and is firming, softening, and protective for the skin.
Glycerin is a moisturizing ingredient that occurs naturally during the saponification process and is not added separately to the product.

The soap is mild, soothing, and really great for any shaving needs, both male and female. Sadly, as the bar is being used, it starts revealing extremely hard and harsh herb bits (see the picture). These are super sharp and scratchy, and can seriously damage the skin, if you are not careful. I hope it can be improved by using the herbs in smaller fraction or even extract form.
